Scott Liggett | President & Chief Executive Officer

Scott Liggett joined Curecrete in March 2010 and serves as President and CEO.  Scott graduated in 1999 from Brigham Young University with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Logic.  He was sought after by Curecrete especially for his amiable but effective leadership style and ability to formulate and execute a clear and successful vision for the continued growth of Curecrete.

Prior to Scott’s coming to Curecrete, he was the Strategic Sourcing Manager for Brigham Young University.  Scott was responsible for supervising a team which procured about 40% of all the commodities that were purchased by the University.  In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Scott was responsible for maintaining and nurturing key strategic supplier relationships, which saved the University millions of dollars each year.

Scott believes that the success of Curecrete, or any organization, depends on each individual of the team fulfilling their responsibilities with a sense of ownership, competence, and pride.  Consequently, a culture of accountability with a focus of getting everyone the tools and training they need to perform brilliantly will be one of Scott’s key focuses.

When he is not working, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, outdoor activities, and playing racquetball.  He has four daughters and a son, all of which adore their wonderful mother.  Some other interesting facts about Scott include that he has owned a landscape company for 20 years and ran a trading post on the Navajo Indian reservation for three years.  Scott enjoys any challenge and is excited about being part of the Curecrete family.

Vernon Talbot | Managing Director - RetroPlate

Vernon Talbot is the Managing Director for RetroPlate.  He has been involved with the RetroPlate Concrete Polishing System from the very beginning, as the one who applied the first samples of RetroPlate nearly 20 years ago.  Vernon has enjoyed being a part of the tremendous growth and progress of not only the RetroPlate System, but of the concrete polishing industry as well.  He oversees the operations of the RetroPlate System throughout the world and works with U.S. representatives, certified applicators, international distributors and corporate employees.

Vernon is married to Raychellene, and they have three beautiful daughters – Dexonna, Axuray and Tayxa.  He enjoys sports and outdoor activities, including skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and fishing, as well as trying to keep up with 3 active girls.

Dave Hoyt | Director of Operations & Technical Services

Dave Hoyt joined Curecrete in the early summer of 2000.  As the Director of Operations and Technical Services, his day-to-day activities vary widely from testing and research, to field training and technical support for over 65 distributors and representatives worldwide.  Dave has a passion for efficiency and accuracy in both product and service.  In 2005, Dave joined the American Concrete Institute as an associate and consulting member on their various committees.  He participates bi-annually in the ASTM CO9-Concrete & Concrete Aggregate Committee to stay current on news and changes within the fast growing and widely expanding concrete industry.

Previous to his employment at Curecrete Distribution, Inc. Dave was the COO and Managing Director for GMG Products, Inc.  He loves the outdoors and all that the majestic Utah mountains provide for fun.  Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Grantham University in Electronics Engineering Technology and resides with his wife Paige in Lehi.

Jim Walton | Technical Director

In 2005, Jim Walton joined the RetroPlate team as its Technical Director, bringing with him over 25 years of sales and technical support experience.  Prior to joining the RetroPlate team, Jim worked for two leading polished concrete OEMs, introducing original polished concrete grinding equipment and processes to the U.S. market.

As Technical Director for RetroPlate, Jim provides expert technical support and training to certified RetroPlate applicators, oversees the certification process to potential RetroPlate applicators, and provides technical assistance to contractors, specifiers, architects and RetroPlate representatives throughout the globe.

Jim served honorably in the U.S. Navy, and attended Northeast Louisiana University.  In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, guitar playing, watching movies, walking and riding bicycles.  He is married with three grown children, and currently resides in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

Massimo Poggio | Executive Director of Int'l Business & Managing Director, Latin America

Max began his service as the Director of Technical Services for Curecrete and quickly gained knowledge in many aspects of the company working as Regional Manager over Latin America, Chief Operating Officer and eventually as President and CEO of Curecrete Distribution, Inc.  He resigned when forced to take a medical leave.

Max has developed an intimate understanding of Curecrete and knows the ins and outs of all aspects of the company.  He understands the vital role distributors and representatives play in the world market and enjoys interfacing with customers.  During his tenure he has successfully nurtured international growth which is flourishing today.

Max is a native of Milan, Italy, and graduated from Brigham Young University in engineering.  Max is a natural for his position at Curecrete as he is fluent in four languages, has traveled the world extensively, and brings over 35 years of business experience.  Prior to coming to Curecrete he founded and managed businesses in the auto industry including auto parts, service, manufacturing and owned dealerships including Ferrari, Fiat and Mazda.

In addition to Curecrete, Max loves classic and foreign exotic cars, building and customizing computers, traveling, and reading.  He enjoys family time with his wife, Jane, three children and seven grandchildren.

Toni Jimenez | European General Manager

Toni Jiménez joined the RetroPlate team in September 2012 as the European General Manager.

Toni is responsible for providing training, care and service for all RetroPlate European distributors.

A native of Spain, Toni previously owned a concrete polishing business.  But for the past 8 years, he has owned and operated a product distribution company. Toni’s extensive expertise of the RetroPlate System and its supporting products are a result of his working directly with each product for several years in the field.

In his spare time (which is quite rare), Toni enjoys hitting the pavement on his bike reliving some of his days as a professional cyclist in France in the 1990s.

Toni currently resides in the south of Spain in Almeria, near the sea, with his wife and two daughters.

Deke Rife | Director of Global Business Development, North & South America

Deke Rife is the Director of Global Business Development for North and South America.  Deke joined Curecrete as a National Accounts Manager in July 2011. He has worked in the construction industry for more than thirty-five years, thirty of which were in construction chemical sales, and twelve plus years in the concrete polishing industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Buena Vista University. Deke has 3 children and 4 grandchildren, and enjoys boating, golfing, hunting and fishing. He currently resides in Des Moines, Iowa, USA.

Jason Korth | Director of Global Business Development, Asia-Pacific

Jason Korth is the Director of Global Business Development for Asia-Pacific and works closely to build and maintain relationships with corporations in the Asia-Pacific region. He travels and meets with potential clients and existing companies discussing the benefits of Curecrete’s product lines and the value it can bring to their business. He collaborates with Curecrete’s managing directors, international distributors and representatives to provide support and information regarding customers’ needs and successes.

Prior to joining Curecrete, Jason worked as a results oriented sales professional with extensive experience in needs assessment and value selling, business development, negotiation and team leadership. For over 12 years his proven success has been in business to business sales with not only startups but with Fortune 500 companies as well.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Sales from Weber State University with a minor in Information Systems and Technology.

Scott Maxfield | Corporate Accounts Manager

Scott Maxfield joined the RetroPlate team as National Accounts Manager in October of 2016.  He has worked in the concrete construction industry for over thirty-four years specializing in concrete chemical sales and application.  As National Accounts Manager, his primary responsibility is to match RetroPlate’s field representatives and applicators with corporations who have integrated the RetroPlate Concrete Polishing System into their building specifications.

Scott has six children, all but one who are now grown with families of their own.  He has been actively involved as a volunteer and coach in youth soccer, including a stint as President of Utah Youth Soccer.  Currently, he is still active as a thirty-eight year sports official refereeing high school and small college football and basketball.

Keller Clark | Director of Supporting Products Development

Keller Clark is the Director of Supporting Products Development.  He has a history of successfully creating and managing businesses in several industries.  In 1986, he created a software development company catering to the travel industry.  Later, he owned and managed businesses in formal wear, dry cleaning, outdoor equipment, durable medical equipment and real estate development.  He joined Curecrete in 2017.

He studied Computer Science at Brigham Young University, but his entrepreneurial spirit led him to study Business Management.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 1991.  He is experienced in advertising and marketing, and has a passion for developing strategic sales strategies.

One of his greatest strengths is the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, customers and coworkers.  He is a team player that helps those around him succeed.

Keller is a Utah native and enjoys rock climbing, ice climbing, canyoneering, backcountry skiing, backpacking, motorcycling and time with is wife and 5 children.

Garrett Soong | Director of Marketing

Garrett Soong serves as the Director of Marketing for Curecrete Distribution, Inc.  He joined the Curecrete team in October 2007 after completing his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University-Provo.

As the Director of Marketing, Garrett is tasked with articulating and communicating the unique and unmatched benefits of the Ashford Formula and the RetroPlate System, and Curecrete’s complete line of supporting products.  He is also responsible for product branding and design, promotional campaigns, advertising, tradeshows and web-design and upkeep.  He also assists and supports the many dedicated sales representatives and international distributors in their marketing efforts.

Garrett is originally from Maui, Hawai’i where he was born and raised. He enjoys visiting his home state and spending time in the water and sun!  Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations with an emphasis in Middle Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University-Provo.

Bradley Gardner | Chief Financial Officer

Bradley Gardner is the Chief Financial Officer at Curecrete Distribution, Inc. and coordinates the accounting and financial functions of the company.  He oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger functions within the accounting system including reporting financial information to management.

Brad graduated with honors from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah.  He is a Certified Public Accountant with memberships in both the American Institute and Utah Association of CPA’s.  He is also a past officer and board member of various professional organizations including serving as President of the Southern Chapter of the UACPA.

Prior to his time at Curecrete, Brad worked with the Grant Thronton International CPA firm attaining the position of Senior Manager.  His responsibilities included client consulting and billing responsibility for various individuals and business entities.  Since leaving Public Accounting he has worked in the industry as a Controller and CFO.

Brad has also been involved in positions of leadership with civic organizations and within his church.  He is married with 6 children and 10 grandchildren.  He enjoys many activities including fishing, golfing and tennis.

Lee Cardon | Director of Information Technology

Lee Cardon serves as the Director of Information Technology for Curecrete Distribution, Inc.  He is responsible for all of the Information Technology needs of Curecrete including the installation and maintenance of network hardware, software and phone systems.  Lee has been championing technology at Curecrete since 1999.

Lee grew up in Santa Monica, California.  He served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and has crossed the Equator aboard ship becoming a Trusty Shellback. He also speaks Korean – having lived in Korea for 4 years.

Lee likes to camp and hike with his 3 children, and enjoys reenacting the Western Fur Trade era of the Mountain Men.

Lee currently resides in Springville, Utah.

Brak Carman | Diamond Tooling & Technical Assistance

Brak Carman joined the Curecrete team in 2003, and officially joined the RetroPlate team a year later.  In his current capacity at Curecrete, he provides technical assistance, diamond tooling expertise and support for Curecrete’s supporting products.  He brings to the RetroPlate team a wealth of knowledge and experience in the residential home construction and real estate industries, as well as an education focused on architecture and mechanical drafting.  This experience coupled with his expertise in diamond tooling uniquely qualifies Brak to be a valuable asset in the concrete polishing industry and to the RetroPlate team.

Brak’s wife Denise is his “best buddy”, and together they are raising four active little boys: McKay, Renik, Deakin and Kieran.  During his free time, Brak can be found riding motorbikes and motorcycles, off-roading in Toyota Landcruisers, and welding, fabricating and wrenching said vehicles.  Brak currently resides in Payson, UT, USA, where he and his family hope to be for a long while.
